Turn your good dog into your best pub buddy.
Your dog knows the basics. Now it’s time to master real-world manners in one of the most fun and distracting environments out there — an actual pub. Grab a beer, enjoy the food, and let your dog learn how to hang.

per class
Pubs, restaurants, and cafes are more dog-friendly than ever.
That’s great news — until you’re trying to relax and your dog is laser focused on the nachos at the next table, or lunging to greet every passing person.
This and more can make these outings anything but relaxed for us, our dogs, and the cafe staff. As we like to say, the only “chaser” we want comes with a beverage.
If we want to enjoy these fun but distracting environments with our dogs, we need to teach them how to do that successfully.
What “pub manners” actually looks like.
Real dogs. Real patios. Real distractions — handled.

This is a class where your dog learns to chill — not just train.
Six real-world skills. One relaxed afternoon.
Tonya distills complex pub and cafe manners into bite-sized component behaviors and builds them into practical sequences through effective, positive training.
Settle under the table
Truly relaxed — not just waiting for you to look away. Your dog learns to chill through the whole meal.
Calm greetings
Polite hellos when strangers (and their dogs) walk by. No lunging, no crying, no drama.
Polite ordering
Stay settled when you get up for another round. A trained behavior sequence that actually impresses the crowd.
Leash walking through chaos
Navigate tight spaces and high-traffic areas without spilling your beer. Teamwork walking at its finest.
Bomb-proof “leave it”
Dropped food. Other dogs. Kids running by. Your dog learns to let the unexpected happen without losing it.
Recover from startles
A glass breaks, someone cheers, your dog just… chills. Rapid recovery from startling sounds is a real-world superpower.

Pub Manners is an intermediate class.
We’re building on foundations your dog already has. Here’s how to tell if this is the right time.
This class is for you if…
Your dog is comfortable around people and other dogs, and you’re ready to level up in the real world.
- Takes treats in the presence of other dogs and people
- Knows sit and down on cue
- Has basic leash walking skills
- Is comfortable around other dogs and people (not reactive)
- Has some experience settling on a mat at home
This class may not be right if…
If any of these describe your dog, starting here would set you both up for frustration. We have better paths forward.
- Your dog is reactive (barking, lunging, growling at dogs or people)
- Your dog hasn’t yet learned basic obedience at home
- Your dog is highly fearful in new environments
- You’re currently too busy to practice at home between classes
Six spots. Four weeks. Book yours.
